Rock balancing is an art in which rocks are naturally balanced on top of one another. This practice has carried spiritual meaning across cultures for centuries and requires practice of patience and a physical effort of creating balance. Fascinated and inspired by the elegance and lightness that heavy rocks can infill, the filament lamp is designed to transmute the optical illusion to real physical lightness.
Each element is a unique piece, crafted with yarn and resin, and connected to create sculptural ambient lights in three variations: pendant, ceiling and table lamps.
